VALENTINE’S DAY- Students may bring Valentines to exchange with their classmates on Wednesday, February 14th. We will make folders at school to hold the Valentines. A class list was sent home last week. Please include ALL children in our class if you choose to give Valentines.
SIX FLAGS READING PROGRAM-All forms are due this Thursday, February 15th. No late forms will be accepted.
IN-SCHOOL FIELD TRIP- On Friday, the ladies from the Parks and Recreation Dept. will be doing a lesson with the students about Endangered Species.
NO SCHOOL- Monday, February 19th and Tuesday, February 20th
BAG BOOK REPORTS- WOW! The children did a great job with their Bag Book Reports! I was impressed and entertained!
WRITING FAIR- Congratulations to Tripp Nichols and Reilly McDurmon for making it into the Writing Fair finals for third grade. Each third grade teacher brought pieces of writing to be judged. Only three of those pieces were chosen to move on to the next round and two were from our class!!! The one, winning entry will be sent to the County Writing Fair.
MARCH MATHNESS- The competition begins March 1st. Continue to review your multiplication facts on a nightly basis so you’ll be ready! Let’s make it FOUR years in a row!
GREEN EGGS AND HAM- The lunchroom staff will be serving green eggs and ham for breakfast on the morning of March 2nd to kick off the Book Fair.
EARLY RELEASE- Wednesday, March 7th.

SOCIAL STUDIES- Read and discuss Georgia Studies Weekly
