Students had to answer 30 division problems in one minute. If they got those all correct, then they had to answer 30 multiplication problems in one minute. Keep working hard at home. Mrs. Pepper offers the Principal’s Challenge every Friday.
7 MINUTE TIMED TESTS- We have been taking a break from the Math Buster tests since we’ve been taking the fish tests. I am going to give 3, seven minute timed tests this week that I’m going to grade. Tuesday= multiplication 0-5, Wednesday=multiplication 0-12, and Thursday=division 0-9. Study each night for the appropriate test. (Yes, even Math Busters have to take these tests. They will not count against anyone who has already passed that particular test, but they can count FOR someone who hasn’t passed that test yet.)
KEYBOARDING- We have heard from the middle schools that students need to work on their keyboarding skills. Students can go to my blog and click on Dance Type Mat to practice when they have free time at home.
