MATH PARENT HELPERS NEEDED- I’ve gotten some responses from parents who are able to help us in math next week. We will be discussing money and how to make change. I need a few more volunteers. If you can come in on Monday, Oct. 5th, Tuesday, Oct. 6th, and/or Wednesday, Oct. 7th from 12:15-1:00 please let me know. Thanks!

REFLECTIONS- All Reflections entries are due tomorrow. The theme is…”Beauty is…” More information can be found on the PTSA website. We have many talented artists and authors. I would love for some of our students to enter.

MOVIE IN THE GARDEN- Come and join us this Saturday, Oct. 3rd for a FREE movie, free soda, and free popcorn!!! We will be watching The Wizard of Oz.

DONATIONS FOR CLARKDALE ELEMENTARY- Our school is collecting school supplies and clothing for the students at Clarkdale Elementary. Anything would be appreciated!

ACCELERATED READER- We have two weeks until the first nine week period ends. All students need at least 8 AR points by Oct. 9th. Please ask your child where he/she stands right now. Encourage your child to read on a nightly basis.

SCRIP ORDER- Do you have a favorite restaurant or clothing store that you go to frequently? Do you buy gas and groceries every week? If you said “yes” to any of these, you can help our school by buying gift cards to those places. You get exactly what you pay for and the PTSA gets a percentage of what you spend. Try it! Envelopes and info came home last week.
