SPRING FLING- Thanks to all of the families who came out and supported our Spring Fling!

PERFORMING ARTS- Our class will be attending the Junie B. Jones performance at the Cobb Civic Center today.

CATO FIELD TRIP- We will be visiting the CATO Nature Center tomorrow. Please have your child bring a sack lunch and drink. Wear old tennis shoes, long pants, and a jacket. It’s going to be muddy from the rain we have had. Mrs. Watkins and Mr. Gilreath will be our chaperones.

ACCELERATED READER- Please check your child’s agenda for the number of AR points accumulated so far this nine weeks. All students need 10 AR points by Monday, May 17th.

PRINCIPAL’S CHALLENGE- 10 students in our class have passed the Principal’s DIVISION challenge. Yeah!!! Students who were unable to pass this past Friday, should be prepared to take the test again this week. Remember, students can practice nightly on the blog.

NEW MATH COMUTER PROGRAM- We are testing a new math computer program. A yellow index card will be sent home with your child later this week. Have your child try the site and give me some feedback. We are trying to decide if we should purchase this program for the school.

IRESPOND- We tried using our new IRESPOND remotes and the children really enjoyed it. We will continue to use them to help us review for the CRCT.

SPRING BREAK- Students will not have school from April 5-April 9. Enjoy your time with friends and family.

SOCIAL STUDIES- Read and discuss people who have affected American history / Fill out flip charts / Review Benchmark tests

SCIENCE- Review Benchmark Tests
