BRICK- Thank you so much for purchasing a brick for me. That is VERY special! I will be able to bring my grandkids(yikes) back to see it! I love the saying…”We must teach our kids to dream with their eyes open”…and especially…”Go Clemson”!!!!!
EVENING IN THE GARDEN- Our wonderful celebration has been moved to Thursday starting with the ribbon cutting ceremony for the “Seeds of Hope” garden at 4:30. Please plan to join us for dinner on the lawn and singing on the blacktop. Children’s artwork and poetry will be displayed. Children will also be playing instruments throughout the gardens.
MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION- Calling all of our wonderful mothers! Join us this Friday from 9:15-10:15 in our classroom.
FIELD DAY- Next Tuesday, our class will be participating in Field Day. Students should wear a blue shirt and bring a water bottle with his/her name on it. Mrs. Tam has volunteered to send in popsicles for the class. Please apply sunscreen before coming to school that morning.
JEOPARDY- We will be reviewing all of the standards we have covered this year by playing Jeopardy. Students will be making Jeopardy cards all week. We will start playing next week. Students are welcome to bring their books home to study any night!
ACCELERATED READER- Students may NOT check books out from the Ford Media Center any longer. Books that are already checked out are due this Friday, May 7th. Please ask your child how many AR points he/she has. Everyone needs 10 AR points by Monday, May 17th. I have books on my shelf that may be checked out and of course they can get books from the public library. The “P” Party will be on Tuesday, May 18th from 4-6 at Mrs. Turner’s house.
HOMEWORK AND BEHAVIOR- Students will have special cards for the next three weeks that will be hole punched if they are missing homework, talking in the hall, being off task, etc. They can earn (or lose) a drink, popcorn, or movie privilege. X’s will still be marked in the agendas.

MATH- Continue to work on long division and 2 and 3 digit multiplication. / Timed test on Wednesday / Long division quiz on Wednesday / Problem solving quiz on Friday / Make Jeopardy cards
SCIENCE- Science lab / Finish Environmental Journal / Make Jeopardy cards / If you read all of this, please write the word Jeopardy in the signature box
